Herreshoff Marine Museum

This preservation project was partially funded with federal grants.  The two and three story wood framed manufacturing buildings included the Herreshoff House (1800), the Burnside Machine Shop (1864-1890), the Boiler Shop (1900), the Old Store House (1900), the Forge Shop (1900), the Sail Loft (1898) and the Office (1880).  Our firm served as preservation consultant to the museum, who acted as their own project manager for the renovations.
